About the Center for Life Transition Program
The Center for Life Transition (CFLT) was established in 1999 by Scott Bradley, MSW, NCPsyA, with the goal of using innovative and caring treatment to “transform trauma into resilience.” The Center was to be a safe place for people to say everything they had experienced, relieve stress from a dramatically changed life, reduce isolation, and gain an understanding of one’s coping style to help foster positive choices. The Center has helped people through a variety of different types of trauma, including the death of a loved one, experienced a difficult divorce, been devastated by a job loss, are fighting cancer and other major life changes have benefited from the unique counseling services offered at CFLT. Free to join.

Support Groups
Sharing with others can be a helpful experience for those who are grieving and adjusting to life after the loss of a loved one. Our groups provide a safe environment where you can begin to understand and deal with your grief. Organized and facilitated by our staff of nationally recognized bereavement experts, the support groups are held year-round on a bi-weekly basis. Groups are typically limited to seven to ten individuals, which enables the group leader to maintain an intimate setting for open discussion during the 90-minute gathering. They are open to all adults and are free of charge.
Individual Counseling
We also recognize that many individuals are more comfortable talking through their circumstances in a one-on-one environment. We can help provide the way to a richer, more meaningful, satisfied life through our private counseling. Please call the Center for Life Transition at 973.434.7441 for more detailed information.
